PA Membership Roster 2008 - 2011 - Please join or renew with PA!

The Owensboro Armory (1947) - On May 13, 2012, the City of Owensboro issued a Request for Proposals for utilization of the Old Armory property, recently vacated by the National Guard units. Proposals may include preservation or demolition of the National Register-listed building. Deadline for submissions is June 1, 2012, 3:00 PM.

Bates Building (Early 1900s Owensboro Savings Bank & Trust) - Terry Woodward is conducting a significant rehabilitation of this key piece of the Downtown Historic Core District


Between 1982 and 2008, 14 documented historic buildings were demolished within the Downtown Core

Longfellow School demolished in summer of 2008 to make room for Owensboro High School expansion
